It is set in a lovely semi-rural location just outside of the Mid-Devon village of Bow, with the local Co-Op & bus stop just half a mile away, with Bow Garden Centre and Café just beyond and the rest of Bow’s amenities found up the village. The nearest train station is at Copplestone with it's large free car park is just three and a half miles away which is the branch line from Barnstaple to Exeter which then links on to London, etc.

The well-kept accommodation is naturally light and spacious, with some 2,000sqft / 187sqm of living space on offer here. There are four double bedrooms in total, the master enjoys an en-suite and masses of built-in storage and the family bath and shower room includes a double shower cubicle, separate bath, heated towel rail, sink, WC and bidet.

Downstairs we have a lovely double height entrance hallway, with a glazed wall to the huge living room with feature fireplace and wood-burning stove. The attached kitchen diner is also sizeable with masses of storge units and worktop space, plus integrated dishwasher, Neff double oven, induction hob and extractor fan. There is scope for a ground floor internal annexe, using the 4th bedroom (currently a study), downstairs shower room with WC and heated towel rail and the utility room could be adapted to create a kitchen to this end of the property. There is oil-fired central heating throughout, with underfloor heating to the ground floor and traditional radiators to the first floor, all doors, windows and skylights are double glazed.

Outside: The plot extends to 0.22 acres, with ample parking for 6-8 vehicles, plus a triple length garage (total 9.5m long & 6m deep) which has two open front parking bays and a large single garage/workshop – All with light & power. The garden is laid to lawn and faces West for beautiful sunshine from late morning until sunset. It takes in the views over fields, onto rolling Devon countryside with Dartmoor beyond. To the rear is a small open courtyard with a raised flower bed & space for pots, plus gated side access back to the front.

Just 10 miles away is the Dartmoor town of Okehampton with bustling shops including Waitrose and great access to all the fantastic walks, cycle rides and views that Dartmoor has to offer. 8 miles in the other direction is the market town of Crediton with independent shops, coffee shops, sports clubs, supermarkets and great transport links. The property sits in the parish of Zeal Monachorum (1.5 miles away) is situated 8 miles northwest of Crediton, hidden within vast and tumultuous farmlands. Its name is of Latin origin ‘Cella Monachorum’– meaning ‘Cell of the Monks’. Like many Devon villages Zeal is home to a number of period properties, and buildings that have a strict conservation status – preserving the traditional beauty expected from rural settlements. Its church is old (understatement) (1235, late Saxon) and in its yard is a yew tree rumoured to have experienced a 1000 birthdays or more (not that anyone celebrates). The village is also known for having the most family friendly inn around, ‘The Waie Inn’ – offering great food & drink, both outdoor and indoor children’s play areas, a heated swimming pool, skittle alley, large function rooms (for weddings, parties etc), an astro turf pitch, squash courts, fishing lake and B&B rooms

Nearby Bow is a hilltop village on the River Yeo. It sits at the edge of an expansive, wild piece of country, bordered by wind-swept fields of wheat, shadowed by Dartmoor in the distance. Modern Bow is a peaceful, family-friendly village with a rustic country pub, a popular primary school and a Cooperative mini supermarket – an idyllic country escape.
