Hillside is a detached cottage, centrally located in the popular Mid-Devon village of Morchard Bishop which has a thriving village community, shop, churches and pub. The Tarka Line (rail services to Crediton/Exeter and Barnstaple can be found just a couple of miles away in Morchard Road.
The cottage is being sold now with no chain and offers excellent space over two floors. The ground floor has further potential with a very useful utility/store which would suit a range of uses. The kitchen/breakfast room is well fitted and there’s plenty of room for a table. The “front door” (there are two on the front) leads into a central hall with access to the dining room with doors out onto the garden and in turn into the large and light living room. The bathroom is on the ground floor but there is a WC on the first floor too. There are 3 good sized bedrooms and a very useful airing cupboard upstairs. The property is double glazed and has oil fired central heating.
Outside, the main outside space is to the front with gated parking/courtyard area and then lawn. Established trees give some privacy and provide a very attractive garden area which is separate to the parking. The gates give some security for this with children or pets.
To the side of the house is a small further area which is home to the oil tank.
