Full Details

Cheriton Bishop is a popular village for many reasons, its proximity to the A30 makes Exeter or Okehampton an easy commute, plus with plenty going on, a shop, pub, doctors surgery and primary school, it is a lovely Devon village that isn’t isolated. Woodpecker Way is a small cul-de-sac of semi-detached bungalows and within easy reach of all the village’s amenities.

This particular bungalow really deserves closer inspection. It has been re-modelled inside and out to now provide a really characterful and modern take on the original property. An extension on the rear plus the conversion of the garage and addition of further garden rooms provides plenty of space to enjoy, whatever the weather. Internally, the property has 3 bedrooms, all with build in storage plus a modern bathroom in the centre. The living room is open and just 2 steps down and you’re into the stylish kitchen/dining room with its large sliding doors and skylight allowing plenty of light into the living spaces. Heating is modern too - infrared electric wall panels are an efficient way of heating and there are solar panels on the roof too.
Outside, from the curb it’s clear to see this is going to be a little different. The front garden is lawned with some raised beds and bin store. In front of the former garage there is a covered seating area and a pathway leads you to the rear garden. There is a delightful patio area, decking and lawn and the garden buildings give excellent options to how they’re used. The former garage could be re-instated fairly easily and the remaining buildings will satisfy those looking to work from home, enjoy a hobby or even run a small business.
