Meet George

I've been with Helmores since 2006, and having grown up in Crediton I know this area as well as anyone. I started out as a negotiator and worked my way up to partner, learning every part of the property market along the way. These days you'll mostly find me out valuing homes, advising sellers and getting properties ready for the market.

Anyone can call themselves an estate agent, so I took the trouble to qualify properly: I'm a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents (FNAEA), I hold a Diploma in Residential Estate Agency, and I'm an associate member of RICS. I also run our new homes side, working with local builders and developers, which I really enjoy.

For me, a good sale comes down to getting the details right. It starts with an honest, well judged valuation built on what's really selling, but just as important is how your home is presented: the photography, the videos, the marketing, the way it's put in front of the right buyers. I'm fussy about every bit of it, because that's what creates the interest that gets you the best result. I'll always work to your timing, and I'm just as happy helping someone who won't be moving for a couple of years as someone ready to go now.
